Metech Industries Sdn Bhd has a humble beginning in 1955 in Georgetown, Penang as a metal foundry specializing in special steelworks and roller shutters. It expanded from a small manual foundry to a full fledged factory. In 1988, Metech Industries Sdn Bhd diversified into manufacturing pallet racking systems for the local and international markets. By 1994, the group has grown into a conglomerate and the METECH Group of Companies was listed in the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Since then the group has contributed tremendously to the storage system industry, and the building and constructions industries.
